I dont know if Nismo LM GT's come in Non Magnesium.
But the magnesium Nismo LM's weigh 17.1 lbs for the 18x10

I dont think there is a lighter 18x10 inch rim vs the Nismo LM GT's

you can say that about any wheels...why get volks when u can get the rip of version for 1/8 the price and put stickers on em.......cause then whats the purpose of haing a 350z...why not get a civic and put 350z sticker on it...

Your examples don't work because they are not the exact same.

Default What?

The guy bought nice wheels, and he, and others like them. So, what are the rest of you talking about? If you don’t have anything nice to say then just read the thread and you don’t have to comment. I was interested in the weight of the wheels vs. the track model wheels.

good point, for some reason I think some (like myself) don't like Black rims, because you can't ACTUALLY see the rim, it is too dark and you can't see the detail, and I think that was his point. Judging by the response, it looks like many like black wheels as well, nice that we all have our personal tastes.

according to this, they are basicly the same price as TE37s.

http://www.japanparts.com/shop/shop....e_third=Wheels

Id imagine similair weight, as the styling is similair, main difference 5 vs 6 spokes. spokes are a little fatter on the nismo rims tho.

should note that the nismos on there dont come in black, so there could be a difference or something.

Well I dig em, espec. for track use. I say if anyone is worried about the black rim looking like the car is missing tires, its OK. Just fill all that space behind the wheel w/a colorful caliper and a nice big slotted/crossdrilled rotor for contrast.

Does anyone know a good place to source nismo rims @ a better price than japanparts.com or is that it?

I just took my car to the track on the weekend. My shiny black rims with the sticky Toyo RA1 rear and Trampion R1 front tires are covered with a lot of brake dust. I think they look more hardcore with the brake dust but I think I better clean them as soon as possible before they screw up the real Nismo stickers.
By the way, I don't think anyone car get these rims anymore. They only make 200 set in Japan. From what I been told from Japan this is the last set of black that they can get their hands on. Good luck guys to try to find them. If anyone want to get them just let me know.

Personally, I only like solid black wheels on a black or white car... but it does hide the brake dust a lot better than my brushed aluminum iForgeds!

Nice wheel, and VERY NICE brake.

Where did you find the AP 2 pot rear brake system? I searched HI and LOW for them, but I couldn't find any. Thats why I end up getting the Brembo off a member on the borad. You and I are the only 2 350Z I know of that have a complete aftermarket brake system (Front and Rear). I couldn't find anyone else makes a rear. 6pot front and 2 pot rear must be yummy....
