The stock rims also look pretty good. Almost like a TE-37. Almost.

Ok, really. It might look ok but IN MY HUMBLE OPINION I think its kind of a waste of time and resources. The kids at the local highschool might think its fresh but others might think you can't afford to buy nice rims.

There. Same opinion in a grump friendly package.
I agree with what he said.
IMO, powercoat or painting rims is nasty!!!
I once saw a stock S2k with STOCK rim powercoated, and in my mind i was like "DUDE, you powercoated your rims because you can't afford nicer ones" and laughed inside my heart.

The Z has nice rims, I agree.....but IT NEEDS A LIP to match that wide azz.

GT-7 or flat TE or GT-C will do GREAT (If you can afford them..........I wish i can)

Stay focused and wait to get the Volks. Keep your stock rims stock.

Fine... I will just leave the stock rims unpainted till december. I was going to get the GT-7 but now I also like the look of the bronze TE-37. Which wheel design do you like better.....GT-7 or TE-37?

Default GT-7

Anyone know weight and price on these?

I know it's two piece, so what's the strength compared to stock rays?

Is one piece forged and the other piece attached?

Any info appreciated.

Thanx.

Ok...this is what I've found on the internet...

This store has good prices and currently has a sale (15% off w/ Credit card, 20% off with cash.) www.upgrademotoring.com

-19" Volk GT-7 (8.5F 9.5R) $1,984 All colors except Bronze
-19" GT-7 in Bronze $2,320
-19" Volk TE-37 (8.5F 9.5R) $2,256

Hope this helps

you interprested the web site wrong. i called and talked to Glenn who works at Upgrade Motoring. it's 15 percent off....then 5 percent off that price. so, 19 inch gt7's would be 2002.60 with a money order or cashiers check (15% and then 5% off that price). with a credit card it would be 2108 (only 15%).

the special says this. "All Volk Racing Wheels 15% off!(extra 5% for non-credit card purchases)". that extra 5% is off of the price that the 15% gets you to. that'll clear things up a bit.

he said special order colors are $30 each wheel (silver, noble gold and gunmetal are standard colors). any custom colors are $30 extra per wheel (bronze, merc. silver, black, red, blue....anything)

the te-37 - $2397 is regular price with credit card. cash is 2217.15 (standard color is white or bronze and every other color is extra).

you were taking 20% off of everything....which is going to be your numbers. but, that's not the case.

but, my prices from my vendor:

-19" Volk GT-7 (8.5F 9.5R) $1900 for rims
-19" Volk TE-37 (8.5F 9.5R) $2100 for rims

those are the best prices you'll find around!

with the gt series...if joe gets 3 or more people to buy....he can get even better deals! so, everyone....get those stinkin OEM rims off and get some new rims!!
