I do not work for Discount Tire, but they came through with my new wheel and it drives like brand new. My car is rarely driven and I don't have any curb rashes on any of my wheels since I've had them for over three years. I never trusted DT because of past experiences, but my bro strongly suggests me that I go there since I needed something done because the last shop really screwed me because the car was making squeaky noises when they install my 4 pretty new tires, it isn't tire feathering. Well, DT damaged my wheel at the machine (its like having 3 severe curb rashes), then I was told they can fix it for free, but I told them if they fix it, it won't be the same with the lip color that won't match the other 3. Without hesitation the manager said he'll replace the wheel, he says it may take 2-3 months. And he said he'll do the wheel install himself after the other guy's mistake. I respectfully, but in my mind not trustfully on his word, agree. The car drove better without the squeaky noise and it was softer because the last shop overtorque it. 2 months later, to my surprise my wheel came with a phone call. On appointment time, I went there without waiting and was promptly helped. The manager honorably was doing the install on new wheel as well as balancing the 3 other, he told me I was missing two O rings which I saw (replaced with 2 brand new ones for free) and was told the balance was way off. Upon finishing, I gave him many thanks just for having the new wheel and told him that I'll be back (paid $44 for balancing on 3 tires). As I was leaving, I saw two black dude at DT with cornrows was stairing at my car, it isn't like they were looking from outside the window, but they were standing outside the parking lot looking at my car. For some reasons, african-americans gawk at my car than other races. I test drove it and it is more stiffer, drove like brand new even better when I bought them 3 years ago. To sum, if you are going to DT, go with a veteran installer there, not those high schoolers, by the way the wheel cost $672 on the receipt (free), Volk (19x9.5).
