Default 9.5 " Inch Rim with Wide Tire

Anyone here runnin' 295s on a 9.5" rear rim. I'm sure most people Run 275s but I'm just seein' if it works well, because I'm liking the Axis Halos to replace some of my other after wheels. The only thing is though is that from searching and studying for me to go FI the wise thing to do is get the widest tires. I got Eagle F1s now but they are only 255 for the rear since the rim width is only 8.5. I just do not want to invest a lot of money in something that I smash to bits by losing traction. Of course track time and practice is the biggest mod, but let's take that out of the equation for the time being. Keep in mind, I would really love some 10.5s but unfortunately the rims I want dont have that size Thanks in advance!!!

Its possible sure. I do not recommend a 295 mm tire on a 9.5 inch wheel be it can be done.

Get the rims you want and send them out to get widened. I know a guy that did that, and I think he said it was only like $100 per wheel. Some people say its weak, some people have done it with no problem. The way I look at it, a wheel is welded normally anyhow, whats 2 more welds. A reputable shop will do a good job.

Many, many people have done it. Every tire will be slightly different, so you'll need to research the specific tire you are interested in. I am running Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas 275 front/295 Rear with 9.5in wheels all around.

Works for me.
