Default NT-01 TIRE QUESTIONS

I have a seperate set of wheels i use for track days and am looking to
upgrade to some r-comps, i want the r888's but Nt-01 price is more
appealing. I have 17x9 +35 5Zigen wheels in front and 17x10 +25 in rear.
I am running Falken RT-615 tires now 255/40 and 275/40 i am happy with
them but the front tires are not very tall so the car sits a little high in
rear compared to front. I noticed they offer a 245/45 tire in the Nitto
which has same overall diameter as the 275/40-wanted some input about
pro's and cons of my idea.

Cons= less front traction, will push worse, possible VDC/TCS probs
Pros= Increase in castor

I would stick to the 255 275 combo, or run 275/40 front and rear.

Go with a square setup -- 275/40 on all four corners. More neutral handling & better traction in front. If you had the same sized rims, you would have been able to rotate your tires more easily also.

My previous setup was 275/40 on all four corners mounted on 17x9 rims. I absolutely loved it and now upgrading to an even faster setup but with 18" rims (still looking for the best setup).

I have VDC unplugged totally so that problem is eliminated. I contemplated
the less traction part because of the reduced width/contact patch etc..
I am getting a little worried about ground clearance-i have stock suspension, but have bottomed out twice when driving to the track on
my track wheels-minor scuff on my flex section of y-pipe. The NT-01
has smaller overall diameter than my Falkens do.

i considered going square set up but was worried about front rubbing-i
bought mine almost a year ago and the discussions about 17x10 setup
were still in debates-so i went with the "safe bet" 17x9 f 17x10 r
been fairly happy so far-just have found i have reached the limit of
grip these tires can offer-so r-comps are next.
