Default PICS of 275s and 245s on stock 18s

Here are some pictures of what 275/40-18 and 245/40-18 look like on factory 18's. There is hardly a bulge and no rubbing what so ever. The best part is that my speedo is now only .5mph off! It was 3mph off with factory tires..... Let me no what you guys think.

Very nice!! I like it

I always wondered what that would look like. I think it makes the car look a lot more aggressive

speaking of 255's... you guys think a 255 could really fit on the front factory 18s, no rolling?

Yes they should fit no problem. There is plenty of room on both sides of the tire. My 245 is actually a little shorter then the factory tire which helps a little. The 255 should only be a half inch wider making that a quarter inch on each side. And if you get a 255/40 then it should be as tall as the factory tire. You will have a little bulge though....

Thank you for the pics, these are what I have been looking for, for a long time. This confirms exactly what I thought. Tires that wide fit perfectly, and with little to no bulge!

Depends on the brand tire, my INVOs didn't fit a 9 inch wheel for chit, 9.5 is the min i would run those tires on.

Mine are the Kumho Ecsta MX. Great tire. I had these on my S2000 as well.

I had Ecsta MX's in my 3000GT VR4. Fantastic tire... you get 95% of the performance of the higher-end brands (I'm basing this off tire-racks reviews/tests), for like 50% of the cost.

Is 275/40/18 the best size in terms of profile? I was thinking 275/35/18 is what I have seen others use
(in combination with 255/40/18 on the front)

Don't think.
What is the tire height of the 275/40 and what is the tire height of the 275/35? Now look at the tire height of the 255/40 front, look up the proper sizing info ( its ******* everywhere on here ) and please tell us what one you would actually want to run, ON THE PROPER WIDTH WHEEL>

26.7" for 275/40/18. Here's a tire height calculator.

Wow that looks good!
Stock wheels 245/45/18=677mm(26.7")
your wheels 275/40/18=677mm(26.7")
-to small- 275/35/18=648mm(25.6")
