I think the Rota P45 looks more like a Volk TE37, not a Rota Grid

LOL. Not even close, TE37 has 6 spokes, Rota P45 has 5. You're off by one entire spoke.

Its not that the wheel is a "replica". I find that its just a more appealing design and a larger amount of wheel manufacturers use the same basic design.

There is only so many shapes you can put inside a circle before it becomes redundant. And there are much fewer designs that live up to structural rigidity necessitated by sport enthusiasts. It is only these designs I speak of in the later stated that you have found.

If you really want to get meticulous on this subject, why don't you include the off road section (cars and trucks including but not excluding racing wheels) as well? I think you might be, may I say, "appalled".

So say what you will, but there will always be someone else marketing a product similar. Whether you interpret this as "replica" or "imitation" is your call. But quite frankly, blue jeans are blue jeans and T-shirts are T-shirts.
Some people just want the logo.

you sir are a failure at car modding.

No matter what youve done in the past, your current wheel setup will negate it. You are the EXACT reason why I hate replica wheels. Any real car enthusiast will know your wheels are BS and not VOLKs and will clown you at any car event you goto.

If you cant buy volks then fine, dont just put a VOLK logo on your busted wheels. Youre the reason I have to jump through hoops to get authentic decals for my Volks......thanks ***.

"It does not take a genius to conclude that wheels can be changed"

At least I have a badge in my car that shows its real and documented individuality. I like to know that I do not have to constantly tinker with my car to make it "different" as I could just afford it from the get go. I am quite pleased with its current status and more than likely will be pleased for the foreseeable future.

People like yourself make me laugh quite a bit. Not only because you strive so hard to differentiate yourself from the crowd, but differentiate yourself by buying the same damn parts as everyone else trying to differentiate themselves. Thats a paradox.

PS: I am keeping the stickers.

O so all those post about the "baller" parts you bought for your previous cars were irrelevant?

Im not modifying my car to just "stand out", Im making it my own and look like i want it to.

Im glad you could afford it from the get go...........being that a nismo wasnt offered when i bought my Z your argument has no grounds.

You bought ROTAS.........im sure more rotas are sold on here the VOLKS ( which is sad). Same can be said for honda forums as well.......is that what you really want?

too bad i saved a few of your pics. You added the stickers after you took this picture. You took this picture on 10/9 and then took the pics with stickers on the wheels on 11/9

*disclaimer. Im going off the data saved in the pictures file. He will probably site that the camera date wasnt set, two different cameras....yadda yadda yadda. Hes just trying to back pedal now and act like hes slick enough to change out wheels on the fly.

So if you wanted to stand out so bad, why did you and your brother buy the same cars? Live at home with your parents too I assume......very nice.

1. Why the heck would you assume that I was going to argue about picture dates? Are you that insecure? Just...wow

2. Its me and my brothers house. We have the same interests and like the same cars. And we decided to buy the same cars on a spur of the moment. It really settled the "who's better" debate regarding our past cars.

^go ahead and keep playing the angles game. You come on here trying to reply in any way you can. If i shut a door on you, you comment on it. I call bs on your previous car parts purchases based off that fact that you felt so elite to say you bought a nismo and you dodged that, you say you want to stand out from the crowd yet you have the same car as your brother and rock the same wheels that a ton of 350z owners now have.

Waiting to see what angle you take here......
