Default What's your say on these tires? Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110..

Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase a brand new set of tires for my g games 99b 19x9.5f 19x10.5 r.255/35/19 for the front285/35/19 for the rear

I've read a few online articles about these Hankook V12 tires and I am impressed but...has anyone on here used these tires?

Let me know your suggestions as well.

thanks!

Hankook are garbage tires bro do some research!!! Check out BFgoodrich G force or Goodyear Eagle .. You have expensive very nice wheels and please do not play cheap on tires... What is your budget by the way?

i had hankook tires on my old car and were def better than my yoko's.

but im talking about the new v12 that were released last year...

check out the link below:

http://www.hankooktireusa.com/press/...t=&txtKeyword=

i was looking into the g force kdw's but are too expensive and 19" tires wont last! so there's really no point in buying expensive tires and will be spending a fortune.

my budget is 850-950 on tires.

a rim shop recommended me hankook v12 evo over toyo t1r's...very similar performance and a few hundred dollars cheaper....

i ll look into the BF Goodrich g-force tires again and also falken 452's.

thanks for your input though.

I also wanted to know about these tires. Anyone else have experiences with them? My main concern is price and noise. Some people say these tires are noisy and others say they are quiet.

I'm having mine installed today, everything i've read about them raves about their dry/wet performance and their absence of noise. also note they have a great sidewall stiffness. I was surprised how stiff they were without being mounted. they also run wide compared to bridgestones.

The KDW is a good tire but unless its the NT version it will be noisey as FAWK!!!

Hankook Ventus V12 EVO did very well in Car and Driver (Aug 2009) budget tire performance test. Performed as well as Michelin PS2 (benchmark tire). For the price...seems hard to beat. I will try this tire as a result of the article.

Generalizations are rather useless, seems you should do some research yourself. Reviews seem to be pretty favorable for the Kooks thus far...

read in a couple articles, probably the ones linked above, that they are really good in the rain and have above average traction and anti roll.

I'll be putting some on my rear in a couple days.

I've had V12's on my car for a few thousand miles now. They are relatively quiet when new and have nice dry/wet grip. For the price, they are the best tire you can buy IMO

uh... car and driver does not include the RE050a's PP / RE-11. Does not include Pirelli. Does not include ADVAN series yokohama... does not include Goodyear Eagles... need I say more?

the ventus are alright... but don't expect to get what you get from ANY of the aformentioned. It won't make any difference really DD though if you're not pushing hard.

The article was about "affordable" summer tires though. While the Kook may not be as good of a tire as the big name brands, it offers almost the same performance, and at a significantly lower cost.

I can't say I am a fan of Goodyear eagles and BGF's are NOISEY! I'd def like some more feedback on these. Anyone know if they run wide or narrow?

ohh forgot about my thread lol..

I purchased these hankook tires and love them.

255/35/19
285/35/19

Wet and dry traction are great! I would def recommend buying these tires! My buddy has kdw's and told me that these hankook tires ride/perform better.

I can't compare with Toyo T1R's since those tires are on a FWD car and smaller size.

^ Good to get some feedback on these -- do they run wide or narrow compared with other tires the same size?

tirerack is 'giving' away the EXTREME PERFORMANCE catagory hankook ventus r-s2 at the moment (since r-s3 just came out)

just got 17" 245s for my new track tires at $71 each...

[& speaking of giving away --if any one in central florida needs some free ~3000 mile 245/45ZR-17 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDs- lots of center tread - just no outer shoulders left on 2 of them, come get them, 18 months old, 7 track days - good for burn outs / drifting? i was going to just swap sides to put the fresh shoulders on the outside but further running them >120mph & cornering at sebring scares me - should be fine for regular highway use if you still sport 17 rims ]

i've become a bit less brave after this....

figure i guess i'm pushing it if i can crack a rotor?
