Default yet another tire question

ok i have a set of 18x9 and 18x10 wheels with +25 offset all around
they currently have 245/40 and 275/40 wheels on them. i have had a few minor issues with vdc but am thinking its more driver than tire issue.

now to the actual question are these good tire sizes to be running b/c my rears and wearing down and its almost time to replace them.

also any recomendation on budget tires. car might see the track once a yr at most. and im currently on stock suspension. until somebody posts a deal in the fs threads lol.

thanks for the help in advance and hope i dont get flamed .

You tire selection is fine, i would bump up to a 255/40 front or even a 275/35 front. Either will fit fine and both will reduce understeer, something very needed for the track.(especially if you don't have aftermarket sways.)

thanks for the info would bumping up the front sizes like u stated make them look more off-roadish????by that i mean where the trie starts to make the rim look small.
