Insurance helping you out?

thanks for all the comments...

..I gotta go watch that movie "Taken"..

..the wheels were 19 Volk GTMs

..I did have wheel locks from Ray's and alarm, but..
i guess it really doesn't help much when someone really really wants it..

..Insurance is taking care of it and i will be at the shop tomorrow shopping for some new wheels..

..it just.... sucks tho...

If you get new wheels, keep your eyes open heavily for the next month or two. I had a stereo stolen a few years ago and exactly a month later, they came back and tried to steal it again. I hadn't replaced it yet, but they still busted my window.

The cop told me that thieves tend to do that. They'll steal something, then figure in a month your insurance has paid up and you've replaced whatever they stole, so they come back and steal again.

You do realize it is pretty damn simple to get a wheel lock off.
