Default Privat Fahren Question

I am interested in getting the Privat Fahren wheels. I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me.

1. Does anyone have picture of Hyper Gray on any Z?

2. Will the stock pressure sensor (tps) fit without additional metal band?

FYI, I am going to stay with 18x8 +20 front / 18x9 +25 rear. This way, I can still use my stock S03 tires, and upgradable to 245/40/18 front & 275/40/18 rear in the future.

Thank you.

How come you didn't go +20 front?

Do you know if the stock tire pressure sensor still fits without modification?

Does the wheels require hub ring so it doesn't vibrate around 60mph+?

THanks!

I go w the 40 because I was worry about the rear wheels offset not the front, either of the front offsets (40 or 20) it wil be good

I don't know about the tire pressure sensor because I have the Base Model...sorry... But I believe it will be fine!

I bougth the Installetion kit that brings the nuts and the adapters for the wheels... you will need it, just $45 more!

webcarconnection, what do you mean installation kit? can't you use factory nuts? also, why do you need the adapter?

CanZMD, you can find them at:

You are interested in the same exact thing I have been asking about. I wanted to see the gray on a black Z. The only difference is, I want 18x9 all the way around with the 25+ offset. I want to put 275/40/18 on the rear. I just need to know what is the biggest size that will fit on the front while still being large enough for the 9 inch wide front rim? Anyone have any comments?

I wouldn't put 9 in the front, I think it's a little too big... but you can probably put 245/40/18 in the front, maybe 255..

You can't use the factory nuts... the kit bring nuts and a plastic circle to fits the wheels in the rotors ( I can't explain it better... just order the kit) if you call Disc.tire they can explained better.

you can use big brakes on this wheels, but you can call them and make sure about that.

and yes 18x9 is too big for the front!!!

18x9 is not too big for the front guys. There are people on here running 19x9 on the front and 19x10 out back. I will see if I can get the 255/40/18 for the front. Sounds like that might work. We shall see.

Did you go for Opal or Gray ? Is the gray similar to the TE37 gunmetal? I guess Opal is like brushed chrome. Can't wait to see your pictures. I'm torn between the TE37 in gunmetal or the Fahrens. I would really like to get the 90 day same as cash that I can get using the discounttire card. I wonder if they can get Volks, even though they don't have Volks on their website.

I got the Hyper Gray.. I haven't seen anyone with Hyper Gray yet. The Hyper Gray is lighter than TE37 gunmetal, guess I will find out next week

Don't think they can get Volk, but you can try goto online and talk to someone live.

now I just hope the tire pressure sensor will fit without any modification...

Those wheels really look good, Jim. But I'm thinking if they'll be too much chrome on my already chromesilver car. What do you guys think?

I ordered the Privat Fahren in hyper gray. I got the sizes 18x8 and 18x9 with a 20+ and 25+ offset respectively. I also ordered 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 Falken 451's. I will post pictures of these wheels on my Superblack if anyone is interested. I should be getting the wheels by friday before NOPI.

here's mine from the gallery. the car has been dropped with eibach's. rims are strong too, ran over some nasty potholes and still haven't damaged em.

Rears look a little tucked in the last pic......but I'm guessing it's the angle. That's a 25 offset?

To any Privat owners, not just the one above: Any pics down the side to see how the offsets flush up?
