Default qustion about chang rear tires

i have a 06 350z touring.my rear oem tire is 245/45/18. can i change to 265/35/18 from michelin pilot sport ? i have the OEM wheels. thanks !

Front tire is taller than rear.

so you guys' suggestion is oem rear tire 245/45/18 is better? because i thought change to 265//35/18 will be more stable,and look better.

yeah, but you are looking at over a 5% difference in tire size, throwing not only your speedometer off but can lead to other issues. you will actually have a less stable platform than you think. so yeah, for that wheel the size that is on there is the right size tire.
