Default Removing Pinstripe on Volk Time Attacks, Please Help!

Does anyone know a safe technique on removing the pinstripe from my volks? It already started to peel of in some places, but i just want to get rid of it completly.

Is it painted over the black, or all the way to the rim?

I think the only way to have it done correctly is dismount the tires and have them entirely redone. I would have to assume there is black behind the red and removing the red would be a huge pain in the a*s. You could try to wetsand it off but then what do you do after that? You can't buff it cause it's already a flat finish. You could try to tape it off, prep the surface and paint in flat black. But in that case you'll see a tape line.

I've never looked into Rays/Volk warranty but maybe you could take that route if you're the original owner.
