Continental Contiextreme is lighter than both toyo and bridgestone. They only come in 18's. Only 22lbs for 235/40/18 and 24lbs for 255/40/18. Stock tires weigh 28lbs. I think Toyo weigh 26lbs.

The answer to your question is size-dependent. Decide on what size you want and then ask questions from the manufacturers on weight. Yes, generally, the S03 is rather heavy for its size because the tire body is wider than other tires of the same (rated) size. For 245/40-18 front and 275/40-18 rears, I went with the Tirerack-touted Goodyear F1 GS-D3 which is almost as light as the Toyo. Treadwear rating is also 280AA.A

yeah but how does Continental perform in comparison to Toyos or Bridgestones. I don't think they are on par.
