no just meerly asking your opinion on the subject? is that so hard to offer your opinion without getting defensive or feeling that everything is an argument?

Damn dude this sucks. Another member on here just had his **** jacked too. Glad my baby stays in a garage. As others have said, try and get a garage spot, because they will come back and see what you replaced your stockers with and most likely will take those as well(if they got away the first time, chances are they will get away again).

@those who say committ insurance fraud. I hope to never hear you bitching about how much insurance is, because it is scum like you that cause the rates that we do have to pay. If you get causght, I hope you enjoy prison and paying back every penny the ins company gave you and some.

Who here is advocating insurance fraud? I probably skimmed those posts or didn't read them thoroughly .

... or did I not understand the story right?
If, you(not saying you forsay) were to do this, THIS IS CALLED INSURANCE FRAUD.

Not like you weren't implying that this was an easy way to get something that you want and not having to work for it.

I woulda thought thieves would steal off of lower profile vehicles...I dont feel bad for you since you are happy with the volks you have on there now....

How much did you get for the claim anyways..I'd like to know what the value of stock rims are to an insurance company

depends on how your insurance company goes..

I know mine they checked local for refurbrished rims and came up with $279 per rim and $282 per tire.. if they were to go by OEM prices i know for 6MT Touring rims are $793.45 each for the front and $801.06 each for the rear. Personally if anyone was thinking i commited Ins Fraud, even at OEM prices its still no where close to my rims that were stolen.

which stock wheels were they? I guess this is where the retail stealership prices for oems would work in our favor.

By the way, thank you for reading into my post(s) with more effort and seriousness than I thought was possible in this thread.

how much the insurance is going to compensate you?

Factories were expensive, got a couple quotes, I was shocked but happy really.....they were 18's, with Falken 452's, then you have to add new TPMS's, Recalibration costs

So it's like what was the point of getting factories replaced, when an upgrade did not cost me much at all?

My place in on the first floor....see the walkway just in front of my car in the pics with no wheels? That leads right to my door!!...my bedroom window is just to the right of that walkway. If the window opened I could spit on the car and it is parked right under a light.....I didn't head damned thing, really sucks, because I always thought I was a light sleeper.

These Goddamn wheel thieves. My former co-worker has a Z just like yours and had his stockers stolen. Someone jacked a set of wheels from my apt complex and the same **** broke into my Z Sunday night (Easter!). At least 4 Z wheel thefts in the past 2 months that I have heard about.
