Confirmed: 9.5 will NOT fit on front...
Week 5 and still waiting for my front wheels on a slow boat from
China. So, I thought I'd slap a set of 9.5 on the front with 275/40
all the way around. Well, the friggin' rim rubs the a-arm. So, I
have to wait...

I'm runnin 19x9.5 in the fronts with 255/35's. I think im going to go up to 275 (265 would be nice if i could find them) in the front and 295 rear. Thats what these wheels are begging for.

With the correct offset, 18x9.5 or 19x9.5 will easily fit on the front of the 350z with no modifications.
Our 2002 SEMA 350Z show car had 19x9.5 front (275/30-19) and 19x10.5 rear (295/30-19) and was lowered with Eibach springs. I drove the car for over a month, and it never rubbed.
How far off are your wheels? Perhaps you could use a small spacer...

We used the new Pirelli P-Zero Rosso. These are an asimmetrical tire (not directional), so you would be able to rotate them left-to-right on the same axle, if desired.
My experience with them showed them to be very quiet and predictable, with no evidence of 'tramlining' on the freeway. Even after 5,000 miles, there was very little sign of wear- I would recommend them highly for the 350z

Really? Cool. Thanks for the info. A few people i know seem to shy away from Pirelli tire because they wear out to quickly. After i wear out these Toyo's i'll have to check into those. Thanks again.

A lowered Z will have negative camber in the front so rolling the fenders on the fronts may not be necessary with the 9.5 width. On my Enkei RPO-2J's 17X9 with 35mm offset and 275/40's mounted on the front, they have about 1/16 of an inch room on the inner A-Arm. The outer portion of the tire has PLENTY of room, I'm sure a 9.5" rim will easily fit with the proper offset.
Anyone know of a lightweight 18X9.5 rim for the front?
