Dropping g off at Injected Performance on May 28th for greddy twin/ built block install. Since it'll be down for six to eight weeks it will be a good time to send wheels off.
widening wheels is done on motorcycles all the time. In fact I did it to my Yammi Warrior. It worked great, right up until I got run off the road and went over a curb. Ended up with a nice, almost square wheel. In the cycling world, widened factory wheels cannot/are not sold with DOT certification.......IE...."for track use only". I'd spend the extra clams and get aftermarket wheels.
