Hey guys,
like the title states I'd like to know what would be the best offset for a set of either 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 or x11 WORK Vs-XX... By best offset I mean that I want it the flushest to the fender or a bit out, it has to clear OEM brembos and have the biggest lip possible... I will be rolling my fenders, I dont want to use super stretched tires and I dont want to run on -100000 camber either..
After some research I found 19x9.5 type A +19 and 19x10.5 Type O +17.. would that be good ? Would that clear brembos ? Anyone have some pictures with specs ?
Thanks guys and yes I did search... the closest thread to my question was 5 years old.. I didnt dare to revive such an old thread
edit: Forgot to add.. I will be installing Stance Gr+ Oem coilovers soon so height isnt an issue either

Ummm thanks for the input HXS..
since I want as big of a lip as possible... if 19x9.5 R disk +28 with a +3 mm spacer works... the19x9.5 R disk +15 would fit with a 10 mm spacer ?? would it stick out too much ? how flush was your setup in front HXS ?

my setup of 9.5, +28 is really weak IMO. +5 is really nice and aggressive. if you want more lip, just go with R-disk +8 ish and if you really need clearance, just add the 3 mm or 5 mm spacer.
check out rimtuck dot com. they have all kind of setups there.

The only thing is... after +15 it goes down to +2.. if +2 doesnt clear Brembos and I have to use spacers i'll be in the - area and that will stick out a LOT ... so +15 with a 3mm spacer would clear ? Also was my guess for the back accurate with 19x10.5 O +17 ?? Would 19x11 O+23 be better ?
That setup would give 109mm lip in the back and 72 mm in the front
btw thanks for the link HXS there are some sick setup on that website

I really can't find any pic with offset included for those wheels so it's hard for me to get a base look as far as where the wheels would stand with a given offset...
A-disk for sure clears REAR brembos.
OP, IIRC you can order custom offsets. you can pick ANY offset, ANY disk you want with VS-XX. no need to do the "set" offsets they have.

there's a 6 mm difference per half inch of width.
he says he doesnt want super stretched so 275/35 minimum in the rear, a slight stretch but not ridiculous. with -2.5 camber he could go as low as +12 with a roll and 275's. 285's, +17 would be ideal with a roll and -2.0 camber.
What exactly is super stretched? What is stretched? What is acceptable? For example a 275 on a 11" wide wheel is stretched to me and depending on the exact tire can look stretched even on a 10.5" wide wheel. This is just my opinion of course
What is -100000 camber? What is acceptable? Here again, some would consider -2 to -2.5 as not being aggressive. Thats more than I would run on my own car.
How can you want the wheel to be flush with the fender or be "a bit out" not be on a stretched tire or not be running aggressive camber and be slammed (I'm going to assume slammed since I think thats the only reason why people purchase Stance coilovers at all. I'm also assuming this is a stock bodied car because it has not been stated otherwise.) on Stance coilovers?
Some things like the specific tire size and actually preferred camber setting (limitations) should be clearly stated by the OP in order to figure out if what he/she wants is achievable.
OP don't take this as me harping on you, I would just like to be able to better help you.

hahahah yeah I really am not a pro... thanks a lot for all your infos guys i'm really learning a lot with all this...
Extra info about what i'm looking for : My Z will be daily driven during summer and I have my old beaten down truck for winter and late automn days(cause we get a LOT of snow where I live).
I also don't want to burn a set of tires per month that's why I dont want to run on more then -3, -4 camber (then again I dont have enough knowledge to know where that sits lool)..So reasonable tire wear ... Yes I am running on stock body besides cai and Stance GR+ my Z is completely stock.. By not too stretch I mean maybe 265 or 275 min on a 10.5 rim... less then that is too stretched to me...
I dont want to read the side wall from the back lool kinda

I'm not looking for a caveman stance either.. even tho it looks sick but the roads over here are really really bad...

I think your first selection (before all the follow-on posts) was the best so far given your requests. Remember, you get more lip by having a lower positive offset, so a real +15 will give you more lip than a +28, for example.

The only thing is.. after reading some other posts I doubt my first front setup clears my brembos...
I think 19x9.5 R Disk +15 with a 3mm spacer would be my best option... Still have to figure out if the will clear brembos...
I'm looking for the most aggressive yet daily drivable without sacrificing performance (VIP style is reaaaaally not what I'm aiming for) cause I plan on installing a turbo kit once my waranty runs out and I don't want to put down 400 rwhp + on some 255's
HXS what setup did you have for your rear wheels ?
