Default 370 Rims on my 350

I recently purchased a used 350Z Touring with 17000 miles on it. Part of the deal I made with the dealer was to install 370Z stock rims on my 350. They look great but the front wheels look...well...kinda weird like way inside the wheel well. The car handles just fine . Do I need spacers and should I install them? Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

Thanks...Love the new ride, hope the rims are not messing it up...I have heard all the horror stories of the tires feathering, but love the car so much I went ahead and got one anyways!

Welcome and congratulations.

Looks are a personal decision. I am not a spacer fan. However, if you decide to go spacers there is one spec to be careful about: Make sure that the front tires do not track wider than the rear. In other words rear tire-to-tire distance should be wider than front tire-to-tire distance.

Love the car, but...you asked for the 18" base wheels? Ew. Our OEM 18" 5-spokes look A LOT nicer.

I thought you worked a deal to get the 19s, or something.

I think the 06+ 350z wheels look better, personally. I'd suggest selling those if you can and investing in the sport 370z 19's.

If you can swing it and really want to go all out but stay oem, see if you can find the wheels that come on the nismo 370.

Check out these two threads...

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...n-a-350-a.html
https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...s-on-350z.html

I hope they put on 370Z lug nuts too. If not, reading the first of those threads will tell you why you should be concerned.

yeah 370Z wheels need a long shank lug nut that 350Z's dont have.

Default Thanks for all the tips

Sure is nice to get all the help with my new Z! You folks ROCK! Thanks for all the tips, I think I am going to keep it the way it is for now...I may put some 15mm spacers later, the car kind of looks like way back in the 70's when everyone was putting fat tires on the back and thin tires on the front! Looks kinda cool I think, guess thats all that really matters..., but I may not like it forever. I will wait and see what kind of comments I get from the people in the car club Thanks all!'''BTW...and this is just my opinion, we all have them...I like the look of the 2009 370Z Base model 18" wheels better than the 19" Rays...I love solid spoke wheels!

Thats really impressive that you got them to throw in OEM wheels for free with a used car purchase. Which charlotte dealership, and where you live?

Looks decent. If you wanted some Oohs and AAhs you should have asked for some OEM Nismo 350Z wheels
