Default Volk TE-37's - HELP

I installed some 19'' Volk TE-37's on my new DB Touring (taken off my old SC Touring - long story)

First the "sixth bolt" had me scratching my head. Am I correct in concluding from various threads that this is a relatively superfluous appendage and I'm safe without it?

Second - when the volks were originally installed on the SC by the shop that did the mounting and balancing, I cannot for the life of me remember if they insdtalled onto Volk lugs, or onto stock. This time around I just ploughed on with the stock, did I make a significant error?

Hopefully someone can put my ailing mind at rest.

Andy R

PS They do look awesome on the DB

the 6th bolt is to be removed for aftermarket wheels! It is simply a "bolt for dummies" to keep the average joe from trying to rotate his larger rears...to the front.

It is in your best interest to use Volk lugs for your wheels.

more like for the 'average nissan mechanic' to keep from putting the wrong wheels on, although several have managed to do so anyway!

my stock lugs would not fit in the te37's holes... nor would the stock tire jack... I had to use the volk lug nuts as well as purchase a new tire iron that fit.
