I would think that the sticker could easily be removed. I ran my finger over it and you can feel the edges. Here are some pictures of the boxes and the insides of the wheels to show the "SL" for silver.

Well, I had some crazy s$!t happen this weekend with my family and all, which completely took my mind away from the wheels for about 36 hours. It was a nice break because I sat and compared the photoshop pic that dsmal did in another thread to the pic I took of the wheel up next to the car for hours and almost got no sleep Friday night. After a lot of consideration I am leaning towards the silver instead of the gunmetal. The gunmetal would look pretty aggressive and that was my initial intent, but after seeing how refined the silver looks against the car, I think I will be happier for a long time. The gunmetal would probably look better on the Lemans Sunset with TE37s then LE37Ts but its really hard not having the two of them side by side to compare. The fact is that I will be happy with either. Hell, they are Volk 19" LE37Ts, what more is there to say.

It would be sweet if dsmal could photoshop the silver rims into the picture of the Lemans Sunset he chopped the gunmetal rims into from the other LE37T thread. Please

You should return them. They may have sent the wrong wheels on purpose because they know it's a hassle to return once you have them, and they have your money. They might not even have had gunmetal in stock. You didn't get what you paid for. If they get away with screwing you, they'll get me next. Thats my conspiracy theory.

The wheels you got are GREAT... not to flat of a silver... and not too dark as a gun metal. Great Color you got there...... Take advantage of it.

If they were sent on purpose, it was not because of the individual that I have been working with. Also there is no way they would take the chance at having to pay an addition $100-200 to have the wheels sent back to them and then to send the correct wheels back to me. They are also willing to give me some expensive lugs and locks which is an indication of customer service. Some may not agree that this is worth it, but when you consider the initial deal on the wheels, plus the free products, there is probably a very small profit margin at the end of this transaction. I have worked in a very customer oriented position my entire life and I can usually tell right away when someone is trying to give me the shaft vs making things right for the customer. At no time was sending the wheels back a problem for the dealer, but the dealer was also understanding of the situation and willing to give me something in return if I made the situation easier. In this case I was given the "choice" and not told what was going to happen. A perfect example of how to handle a situation that could have really created a truly pissed off customer. Instead I made my decision with no hurry or pressure and in the end all is well.

I will hopefully get them mounted and balanced tomorrow and on the car tomorow night after work. It is not easy finding a place around here that wants to mess with mounting tires on wheels that have such a high retail value, but I did find a couple of places that were willing to take the risk.
