Default help choosing tires

Hi i just bought a set of 18x9.5/10.5 +15 offset Enkei RPF1s. I've seen many different tire setups on this wheel combo and i just cannot decide what size tires i should go with. So far I've seen 275/35/18 all around but to me it just seems like the wheel gap is just a bit too big. (Lowered on Eibach Sportlines btw). I've seen 255/35/18 front 275/35/18 rear and i like that because the stagger isnt too extreme, to me 245 up front and 275 rear is too big of a stagger. But with that setup the wheel gap is also a bit too big for me. What setup should i go with that will have the least fender gap with the drop I have? I was thinking of going with 40 series tires but I just want to ask. Thanks!

245/275 is the standard upsized tire choice.

Since we normally choose tires to keep the OD close to OEM in order to keep the speedo/odo accurate and to avoid problems with TCS/VDC, there's not much of a change in the gap. If you want less gap, lower the car more. If you go with taller (larger OD) tires, you'll cause all kinds of problems with handling, clearence, etc.

If you haven't read it already, read this stickied thread on VDC and tire size.

So get some shorter springs. Problem solved.

Only way to properly close wheel gap is via springs. If those springs don't offer enough of a drop you might want to think about a cup kit or coilovers.

If you think 245/275 is to much of a stagger (it is ) go with 255/40 front and 275/40 rear, if you want no stagger 275/35f and 275/40 rear. These two combo's i mention will have the least amount of gap, doing the 255/35 and 275/35r thing will look retanded with the huge gap and way to short of a tire that doesn't fit the arch of our wheel wells.
