Default tire size on track wheels

hello z owners.. its that time to get new tires. i have a set of track rims on the z and curious what tire size you guys went for. and i know oem tire size are 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear. just seeing what you guys went with instead of those sizes. i was thinking of maybe 225/40/18 front and 245/40/18 rear. anyone done so as of yet? ive done my research but still havent found anything. i know its not much of a difference but tire is thinner. lets see what you guys got and what do you recommend. pics are welcomed! thanks.

You can factory specs or 255/40 all around and IIRC some were running 275's in the rear (been awhile since I've looked into them) and I also remember one guy widening the rears to accommodate for 305's... I wouldn't go 45 unless you were wanting a thick sidwall. In the end it's up to you but I'd at least go with 40's..

Mine with 45's

And 40's

245/40 front and 245/45 rear is a great setup for those wheels. 245/40 front and 255/40 rear is also another great setup, but the speedo will be off and it doesn't remove the understeer as well as the 245's all around.
