Default Volk Clearcoat fix? Or Strip...

So I've had a set of Volk GTS wheels for a few years now and just noticed lately that the barrels are starting to get hazy. I've polished and washed them thoroughly which seems to work okay but they don't seem to look as good anymore. I've heard alot about stripping the clearcoat and polishing them and such but is it as much of a pain as everyone says? I'm not in an area where i can wash my car daily, maybe during the summer..but more or less the z is parked for half the year due to snow and weather..Which direction should i take? Would a Volk wheel with no clearcoat be good for me?

Get them repolished....... Maybe re cleared by a wheel expert not a body shop!

Been there done that 2x! Looks sicker without clear!

Volk uses a cheap clear on their wheels with a lip. for some reason, people use wheel polish on these thin clear coats and it just ruins it.

The downside of stripped clear is that you will have to polish them every couple of days for a nice look.

I would rather have a clear coat on my lip, if it was a daily driven car.

And it is, that's why i don't want to get rid of my clear, there are alot of days where i can only come home and wash them with soap and water. I don't have the time to be polishing for hours on end. Well as of now they're sort of washed out and have alot of marks on them, what's my best option that's the cheapest? Times are tough...
