yes. you would have won so many interweb points, but you redeemed yourself with the GTR braxors and Advans.
My opinion? White wheels, look great in photos regardless of car color. Red /white? Awesome. Blue / White? Great. Black/White: Cultural Meltingpot bliss.. etc. but realistically if your car is a DD or even garage queen, is a PITA to keep clean. Spokes might be white, but everywhere else will get a layer of dust when you pull out of your driveway... but dont live in fear, or else the terrorists win.
As far getting replica Volks, well.. i think people know where i stand, just look at my cars. imho you can get great original styles from reputable manufacturers in a plethora of colors for about the same price if you take your time and search. Brand used in good/excellent condition is just a forum search away.
