Default Tires keep wearing out need help

I'm having a problem that seems to be common with the 350z. So far I went through 3 sets of tires in 33,000 miles. The oem tires lasted 19,000. Went with the Dunlop direzza sport z1 and they lasted about 5-6,000. Recently went with the michelin pilot sports and they lasted about 8,000 miles. What is a good tire to get that will last and not wear out so easily? Or is the problem the suspension? I'm tired of spending a grand every 6 months on tires. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I stuck with it? I was also thinking of going with 295 for the rears thinking it will help. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Where are the tires wearing? Is it all four at the same time or just 2? Fronts or rears? Any pictures?

The first set all 4 wore out evenly. Then the rears have been wearing out. Fronts are still Dunlops at 50% tread life. The rear dunlops wore evenly. But the michelins wore out in the middle. Thought my pressure was too high but it's at 35 lbs.

Ok the first thing you'll probably want to do is get an alignment from a shop that is good. The car doesn't align easily and some shops will take the easy way out and say its fine when it isn't. Also note, 19,000 on stockers is about normal and 6,000 on the Direzza super stars may not be far off. Those are reletively soft tires and really soft tires. As for what you should buy next, just make sure they have a treadwear rating of 300 or more. The higher the number the longer life you should expect. However, they will be less grippy.

Seeing the rear wore out quickly would suggest the toe is probably out of spec also

I noticed an increase in traction going from the direzzas to the michelins. The direzzas r softer but slipped where the michelins gripped a lot better

Yeah, check the alignment first and then go to a 220+ rated tire. You'll lose grip but gain with less wear. Our cars like a near zero rear toe and if you are somewhere around .5 to 1.0 degree they wear really fast and track weird in the rain.

Some tires last 5,000 miles. Others 30,000 miles. I posted “Before buying tires check these test results.” Very informative.

I also posted my "30,000 miles plus" tire thread.
