Exclamation Need fast help within the hour please!

My 19's with TPMS have gotten a flat. The only way I'm going to make it to work tomorrow is if I can put my 18s back on with NO TPMS sensors in them. I know the car will BEEP at me, But will it keep my from driving or anything? Will the VDC or anything kick in for not having TPMS sensors in them? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but its just an emergency for me and I need help quickly.

The 18's are the stock wheels with 225/45 and 245/45 tires.

Thanks in advance.

Depending on your current tire size, it may or may not conflict with your OE wheel/tire. Just turn the VDC off if it does. Not a huge deal.

currently I am running 245/35/19 and 275/35/19

I had a new idea. What if I can just replace the one flat front tire with one of the 225/45's OR 245/45? Can I do that? And if so, which one? I would think the 245/45 since its just about as wide as the 245/35/19 and the aspect ratio should even out since its an 18 instead of a 19. Does this make since? I just think, "well they expect people to put that tiny spare on!" Can I just replace the one wheel for a day? Its the front so its not like its a drive wheel?

You can replace any wheel/tire with another, but if the OD of the tire is not close to the one you're replacing, you risk having TCS/VDC kick in randomly. All you have to do is turn it off and drive carefully.

Agree. TPMS and VDC are not related. Changing 4 tires for one flat seems like a lot of work.

Put one odd tire on the car.
Drive with VDC OFF.

i concur. I think I was just stressing out because I was worried about this interfering with work. I simply replaced the blown front wheel with the 225/45/18 wheel and all is well with VDC turned OFF. Thanks for everyone's timely advice. Once again I was able to depend on my fellow Z'ers!
