that was my question, should i just be patient and get 275s or go ahead and throw these tires on.... this is obviously an opinion, and i was looking for opinions. ive got some now. mainly that picture and some others ive seen. im just gonna put the tires i have on, and ill drive the car as hard as ive wanted to for a while. by the time those tires are worn, ill have plenty of cash for a nice 255/275 or 265/275 setup.

yeah, they fit, and while it could be a myriad of other factors, I've noticed some awkward understeer after I swapped from my old wheel and tire set up to these.

prior to 18x9.5 +20 all the way around with 245-40 / 275-40 tires, I was on 19x8 19x9.5 +20ish (with spacers..) wheels with 245/285 tires .. they seemed to cut into the turns much better. I am guessing the front wheel width being the same is the cause of the understeer increase and probably not the tire being slightly stretched, what do you think?

Just throw 275/35-18's up front and call it a day. I don't know what would cause your added understeer, i went down to 245-40 front 255/40 up front and i definatly know it handles like poo.
