Default Ruff Racing R280 wheels w/ Brembo's (18"). Will they work???

Anyone run this setup and know what I'm up against? I already have a set of 18" $1200 tires, so I'm not looking to upgrade my tires and go with a larger size. I have a Super Black '05 Roadster w/ Brembo's and want to put the gloss black rims on my Z. My local wheel shop said it can't be done, but he based that on info that was passed onto him from his dealer. Some online retailers say it can be done, and some say no due to the size of my calipers. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

heres a picture of 18" OEM wheels with brembos behind them:

So yes the Brembos will fit in terms of diameter, but offsets are something else.

The wheel looks to be neutral in terms of BBK-friendliness, so im assuming they will, but wheel specs will help us

34,000 posts and that's the best advice you can give someone?

I don't guess, I research.
