I'm looking into getting some new wheels on my car for the summer, but don't want to spend over 1k for them.. Wish I could afford a nice set of volks, but that isn't an option right now. I like the look of some of the xxrs, and they can be had for under 1k on ebay. Heres a pick of the 962 model on a g35. I'm sure these wheels aren't the best for performance and all, but I like the sporty, wide 5 spoke look and I am definitely not into chrome. Keep in mind, im looking to spend no more than 1k.. Anyone have any experience with the brand?

I don't know anything about the quality, but it's actually not a bad looking wheel for under a grand.

 

those wheels look fine. please get proper fitment for your car, though.

what size and offset are you eyeballing?

 

The 962's only come in a +35 offset so you might want to look into getting some spacers and youll be set...

 

i wonder how durable the paint on them are?
i bought powder coated wheels on ebay and they started to fade 6months later. that was when I was in highschool and bought those ssr 17' white seven spokes with tires for 635

i got the 962s last week 18x8.5/9.5 gold..................... 265/35 r 245/40 f ..... just ordered 20mm spacers.. hope it looks good...... love the rims btw ..........

I have had sportmax on my other car for a few years with no issues. I had a friend that raced on the same model wheel wheel as mine with no issues as well.

Price is good, looks can be decent, weight tends to be their only real downfall. Mine are 17x9 and 19lbs, which is not horrible. There are a decent amount of sportmax posts and questions if you search.
