I know they are 17s, but they will look NASTY

17x13 and 17x14?
thanks a lot lgear080 and terrasmak....
im going to look at all those wheels you suggested when I get some time..

damn those 17's are sick.. and im about to bid on them... how much do you think tires would run for custom wheels like that though?!

anyone have any more suggestions?

also, a special thanks to everyone who thought it would be cool to hate on the body kit/car im getting instead of helping me find wheels, which was the purpose of my posting this thread...
i dont know why people are saying im "stubborn" lol, im just.. already buying the car!! so dont be upset because im not backing out a sale due to your opinion on the body kit...

open to more suggestions
also, those varrstoen 19x10.5 with +0 offset and spacers...
what do you guys think about that? i think those wheels look great, and i think with spacers would look pretty good....

thanks

If you like the varrstoens, go for it.
I personally think they are too plain for your kit - you need some serious attention grabbing wheels to draw attention.

But thats just opinion. Do what you think looks good. Have a backbone and do what you want, not what the internet tells you looks good.

It's not about hating on your choice of car. But people are giving you suggestions and some how you end up posting about 19x10.5 +0 wheels. Read the posts above about some of the suggestions around the fitment of the wheel, people are talking about in the negatives and wider then 10.5. I saw either roll stock wheels and save so you can go ***** to the walls w/ your wheels or just buy a z that $2500 wheels will look great on!

I JUST BIDDED on those wheels!! (a low bid, so not commited or anything yet)
Im quite sure those would look sick on my Z...
what do you guys think?
also, where can I find out exactly what kind of tires I would need for wheels like that?

im thinking i need 355/something/17
(i read online, that you take the 17 and multiply by 25.4 to see what width tire you need...) ???

i dont want to get these if i cant find tires that will good on it... i dont want it to look retarded like these...

If you are bidding on wheels, I assume you are serious about the Z. You have lots of room for fat wheels and tires. Only thing you do NOT have is more room on the “inside" of the wheel - between the wheel and suspension components. But that can usually be fixed with spacers.

17" wheel would not look good with that kit imo. The VeilSide V3 kit is very agressive, you need big wheels to look good. 19" is probably the mimimum for that kit.

agreed, allthough those 17's have a SEVEN inch lip, and are super wide.. I think they could maybe look good... anyways, thats at the top of my list right now.. having trouble finding anything else

second on my list are the varrstoen 19x10.5 with +0 offsets... (the volk replicas)
if I got those, and got some spacers.. im pretty sure those would look pretty decent right?

help me find some wheels guys!

what is the distance from your wheel mounting point to where you want the wheel to be flush with the fender?
I am just assuming here as I am no wheel expert but a 10.5" wheel with 0 offset would be about 5.25" from mount point to lip of the wheel. figure out the difference and find out how many mm would make up the difference for the spacers.
I'm guessing you going to need a HUGE spacer.

^ 20x9.5s up front and mind-blowing 20x13s out back - not sure of the offset on those wheels though.

true... : (
after thinking about it, and using ms paint to see what those work wheels would look like, and hearing feedback from you guys

ive given in, and realized 17's probably wouldnt look very good... damn!

ok so... i guess i need some 20x11 or more, with a low offset....
or maybe 20x10 with some spacers???

this sucks!

ok i guess im not really on a budget.. i have money, i just didnt want to shell out too much of it for wheels
and yes, whoever asked, i am about to get back from deployment.. im actually in afghanistan right now.. but im not stupid with money!

Since you're pretty much set on getting this car just purchase it and save up longer for wheels.

Nearly anything you purchase for the current budget that you have will look just as bad as the OEM's so you might as well keep the OEM's.

well, to be honest I dont need to save up, as I have enough money in the bank.. I just was hoping to find something around 2500 or so...
But It seems I have to spend more... : /
I just dont have too much experience with this, and need some help finding something! it seems like everyone just says volk or work wheels....
