Ichiba V2 spacer dilema
i just recently got a set of 15mm ichiba v2 spacers (the ones with the built in studs) install them and drove approximately 50 miles and already 2 of my OEM wheel bolts broke off. i do have the hub rings that came with it and everything, but im still confused on what could be the cause of this....please do help me figure out the reason.
thanks

ur aftermarket wheels accomodate the oem studs right? they have spaces where the oem stud should sit in and make sure the wheel is bolted all the way to the hub with no gap..that is odd if both of those are correct..
are your wheels huuge and heavy?

i forgot....1 of the studs on the spacer didnt have a lugnut when i put putting on the wheels because i left it at my friends house. so would that come into play with the problem if 1 of the 5 studs didnt have a lugnut on when i mounted my rims on?

well im gonna say it was your install and not the spacer that caused the problem. You didnt use all the nuts for the spacers and you did not use a torque wrench. So to sum it up, it was your fault. You probably did something wrong with mounting your wheels as well. Next time do everything right..

Really??
I don't see why. I've been field changing tires for years at Autocrosses without using and impact gun. Never had an issue.
I have Ichiba spacers with studs and have never had an issue, neither on the road nor on the track.
Just take you time an do it right.

You can use an impact wrench when taking the lugs off but a torque wrench when putting them back on; most shops do it this way now too. Anyhow, you shouldn't be using an impact wrench on spacers AT ALL.

I think you are safer NEVER using an impact gun when changing wheels. ALWAYS use a torque wrench to ensure that the nuts are torqued properly.
Having said that, now that I'm changing my wheels a lot, I do use an impact gun. However, I use it to take the nuts off, and only just a quick hit to "spin" the nuts on the bolts. I don't ever tighten the nuts with the impact gun, but use the torque wrench to seat, then tighten the nuts.

Are you sure you got the right thread size.... 12X1.25..... if you didn'd your lugs could fell tight and torqued but then fall off when pressure is applied the right way....
I know everybody remembers the RX7 that had all of its wheels fall off... wrong thread matchs
