Are theses the ACTUAL matte black or was it painted and/or powdercoated black? How come in some pics the wheels looks black and in others it looks matte black (grayish black, like a faded black)
I just want to make sure when purchased which is the exact color of the wheel we're getting
The ones that look black black those were redone? Like the orange z and blue z is that matted black in the first post? The sedan g on the same post looks more matted black in comparison to the zs which looks black

Datboy, from what I understand they changed powder coaters some time last year so their black has changed and looks better IMO. They older ones are the ones that look more greyish and the new ones are more black, more like a nice satin or semi gloss black. So if you go to varrstoen's website and look at the matte blacks, that's closer to what you would get.

Datboy, from what I understand they changed powder coaters some time last year so their black has changed and looks better IMO. They older ones are the ones that look more greyish and the new ones are more black, more like a nice satin or semi gloss black. So if you go to varrstoen's website and look at the matte blacks, that's closer to what you would get.
