Default God Awful Offsets but look good (ish)! Confused to hell!

Right Ive decided my car needed spacing out a little as my offset were poor. But having taken off the wheels the offsets were so much worse than I expected.

Supposidly (and dont laugh) I am running 18x9 +29 and 18x10 +32!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But look!!!

I know these aren't exactly edging the boundarys of 'hellaflush approval' but they're not +32 bad ... are they? Only thing I can think is that because they are so concave the offsets are the centers and therefore aweful!

WTF do I do now (without resorting to new wheels!)?

Rears (my +32's)

Rear from floor looking up

Fronts (my +29)

I was thinking about half of that. 15 mm spacers would make em sit right. everyone has their preference though, look fine the way they are even.

Not really... it would be close but 30mm spacer should put him pretty flush.

I agree if the wheel was completely flat but if i made the center is flush I reckon i'd be running about a -10 offset at the wheel rim edge.

I have been a big proponent of your setup since you've been posting.

I think you should get new studs and +15 front and back... then you're done.

20mm spacer on a 10" wide wheel with et.32 is your best bet if you want normal flushness.

Right can someone tell me if my calculations are right ....

Stock wheels are 8.5 inch wide and +33 offset

Mine are 10 and +32 offset

so running 1.5 inch ( 38mm wider) ie 19mm wider on either side, so its the equivilent of a stock wheel running a 15mm spacer

So if I put on 15mm spacer should bring me pretty close to flush?

Or am I just talking BS?

Hell no. 30mm spacer would put it outside. about 10mm offset is flush. so if yours is 32, you need 15 or 20 mm to make it flush. 15 would put it about 7mm instill, and 20mm would make it sit 2mm in. a 30mm means our wire/rim would be sticking out at the TOP about 1 centimeter... thats too much imo.

are you set on that ride height? if not, lower it some more and then measure for spacers. I would recommend you roll your fenders before adding the spacers too. I'd go with 20mm at current height, 25-30 if you lower some more.

here's some before/after pics

drivers side w/o the spacer. 28mm offset

These are x10 rims, 285/30/20 tires. 28mm offset, at the time pics were taken- it was stock suspension. as you see, its still about 2-3mm inside the fender, but close enough. Mine are 15mm spacers, so taking your offset is 32, 4mm more then mine, if you get 20mm spacer- that'll put you even closer to flush. Hope that helps

From the first pic, it doesnt look like your fenders are rolled. Id hold off on buying spacers till you roll those suckers, otherwise you might rub a bit.
