Default tire warranty's

im looking to buy some bfg all terrains soon 31s to be exact couple of places i went to are pushing the 90$ warranty down my throat saying if i damage it on the trail and they cant fix it they will replace it. i just do easy to intermediate stuff is it a waste of money ? after all wouldnt it be better to just buy the 5th tire as a spare and if i get a flat have it repaired for 10 bucks instead of giving them the extra cash in hopes i cut a tire open ? what do you peeps think?

warranties are like gambling. sometimes you need them, and they pay out well, but the majority of the time, the person selling you the warranty comes out ahead.

do whatever your gut tells you.

I bought tires from Tire Rack with warranty. Limit was $25 to fix a flat. Mailed away the fix receipt with warranty. Had a check in the mail in less than a week. Very pleased.

Not sure how it works if the tire must be replaced.
