18" te-37s
dont really like 19s for various reasons so im looking at 18s
with the 18" te-37what rears have the deep dish like the 19x10.5 +22 and is it going to concave like that?
what front and rear set-up would you guys suggest for 18s?
Thanks,
Jordan

I can only tell you about my wheels. I have the 18" Nismo silver. The lip is not that large, same front and rear. The front 5 spokes are flat and the rears concave. The fronts are +25mm offset and the rears are +30mm. Width is 8.5" and 9.5". Tires are 245/40 and 275/40 Dunlop SP9000s. With this width and tire setup, I whink the offsets are just about perfect. I think it's an awesome setup. BTW I replaced the stock 18s on a "G". I agree with you, IMO 18s are the way to go.

rim size does not affect lip, only width and offset really affect it. so if you got the same width and offset in 18" it will have the same lip. tho cant say for sure that they offer the same offset in th 18" but Im sure theres one close to it.

As I said before your post, the lips is also affected by the spokes (whether flat or concave). Aso, in the case of my Nismos, there is more meat behind the center hub, between the bolt heads and the mounting location (sort of like a spacer) in front than with the rears. So, from what I see the length of the hub, the shape of the spokes, the offset, and the wheel width control the size of the lip. As I said, Nismo has the same size lip front and rear, and controls this with the depth of the hub and the bend of the spokes (flat or concave). So, if you get the same rim width with the same offset, it may or may not have the same size lip, due to the other factors.
