Default ?????te-37 offset for a 10.5 rim ?? +22 or +35???

hey guys,
i have been looking at the volks and was wondering if i can get the same lip on a 19" te-37 but with a +35 offset. cuz i know the +34 offset on the 9.5 rim gives a nice lip, but it doesnt "stick out" as far as a +22 offset.
i think "jmanZ" has this setup and i think it is very nice. from what i understand, a +34 offset gets you a "low pad" thus giving you a desierd lip, but without pushing the wheel out.

now, my question is, can i get the same effect with a 10.5 rim with a +35 offset? will i get about the same lip? i am asking because i may not want to roll the fenders, but i also need the space for rubber when i eventually make enough fi power.

here is a pic of his car with a 9.5 +34(i think, because the rim doesnt push out to the fender wall.

(jmanZ, i hope it is ok for me to use your pic, if not, i will edit and remove the pic)

The best setup that you can go with, with the deepest lip and concave spokes, is the +22, 19x9.5 front and +35, 19x10.5 in the rear. You will not need to roll your fenders at all. And it will actually give you even more lip than the +34, 19x9.5 wheel, so the answer to your question is yes, and it will also look as concave as the +34, 19x9.5 too. The option is available in both the TE37 and the LE37T. Let me know if you have any other questions, feel free to give me a call at the 800 number below anytime M-F 10am-6pm EST. Thanks!

thanks a bunch!! i forst thought that the concave spokes were only available in the low 20's offsets. but now that you tell me that they are also concave in the 10.5+35's i think that will be my choice!!
thanks

The 10.5 +35 would be a better set up if you don't want to roll your fender. The +22 would be the most concave set up. If you don't mind rolling the fender. Order the +22.

I carry both set up. We can special order either set up. Give us a call at the shop.

Thank you

Default Pictures of a 10.5 wheel with +35 Offset

Hey Jeff@evolution can you show us a picture of a 10.5' wheel with a +35 offset to see how much of a concave you are talking about. I like the fact that you say with this setup versus the +22 you do not have to roll the fenders but I would still like to see it. I really like the look of the 10.5' +22 (pictured on the PPW Z) better than the 9.5' +34 (picture at the beinning of this thread) so not to be redundant but I would really like to see a picture of a 10.5' +35 in either the T37 or L37T. Also it would be bonus if the picture was on the Z itself. Thanks if you can. Z Ya!

jmanz, isnt that backwards, you said rear is 19 x 9.5 with +34, well mine is a 19 x 9.5 +35 and the lip is nowhere near that deep, whats up with that? but mine is on the front, my rears are the same but +22 and the lip still isnt that deep. Im confused now.

Tig488 -
jmanz has the flat spokes on his TE's, that makes for a bigger lip. Good thing you didn't get those rims - a big lip on your front wheels would look a little funny.

+22 offsets look better all the way around IMO. Just get the 9.5 rear and 8.5 front.

What I would like to see is a +22 in the 18 in version of 8.5/9.5. Anyone with pics of this?

I'm also still on the fence regarding 19x10.5 +35 vs +22. I like the lip in the rear, but I really want the concave spokes too. I'm willing to roll my fenders to get the best of both (though I have to do my research on fender rolling). The pictures of a 10.5 wheel with +35 Offset look sort of concave, but does anyone have a shot of the wheel at a steeper angle so I can decifer the degree of concavity?

The +22 will bring you a more concave look and the +35 will bring you more lip. It's not that much of a difference. But you will need to pick one.

hey jeff@evolution,

so would 9.5, +34 UP FRONT and 10.5, +35 OUT BACK look funny?
or is this an OK set-up?

Wait so offset determines how concave the wheel is? jman has flat spokes because of his wheels' offsets right?
