Volk TE37 Thread
Angelo350z, you're right. I saw the Mercury silver with blue decal and the blue lugnuts and I think I'm sold on those
They look awesome.
Also think I'm going to do +12 f/r. 19/35/255 and 19/35/285. 3mm spacers should clear my brembos with those (going on information posted earlier).
P.s- This forum is a lot nicer than my local one haha. Thanks for the help!

The front fitment might be pushing the limits if you're at stock camber, assuming you use those 3mm spacers. Just beware the screw+clip at the top dead center of your front wheel well, holding the plastic fender liner to the sheet metal. I suspect you'll need to remove the screw and clip as a minimum to avoid contacting your 255/35's at +12 (or +9) offset.
EDIT:
Phenom, I think you wrote previously that you has 255's at +15 offset and they would rub the front fenders on turns, correct?

Just as an FYI, you will need to roll your rear fenders for that tire+offset combo. You probably already knew this (or already have them rolled), but just thought I'd chime in FWIW.

And for the sake of comparison, now your old setup (+22 with exact same tires) clears completely at the same height/camber that caused the +15's to rub.

Your going to regret it once you see a nice +12 set up. Trust me... a lot of people look at my set up and regret the +22 set up.
Yeah well uhh, screw you and your set up bro haha just kidding. I've thought about spacers to get my +22 set up to look closer to how my +15 set up looks but between being decently low, staying at factory camber specs, and not rubbing I'm ok with the +22 without spacers.
Before I really dropped it... I had no problems with rubbing and I was weight almost 225lbs back then with OEM camber. I had a problem with 255's with Michelin and Pirelli Nero's but had no problems with Hankook Evo V12'a.
^ I'm currently running the v12's front and rear on my car and they have pretty wussy looking sidewalls, like pretty round looking and no square corners to be found. I think this helps quite a bit with fender clearance for any given size.

19x10.5 +22 all around
245/35 Front
275/35 Rear

Any real rubbing issues with +22 for those who are more conservatively lowered?
Say with the 255/285 tire combo. I was considering continental dw.
I was previously under the impression that a light roll would do.

^^ I'm running +22 all around with the tire combo you mentioned and there's room for a 265 up front and maybe 10 mm spacers all around. My rears are just rolled.
Just search sry110's posts in this thread regarding this. He even included pics which are very helpful. Just remember that different tire brands have different "true widths".

I'm also assuming if it has enough space to run a larger tire or spacer, I shouldn't have any rubbing issues during large bumps etc? or would that be all up to the suspension set up?
Ill look through for sry110's posts.

I want nao.
