Okay, I've seem a lot of different answers on a lot of different forums, so I want to understand fully before I drop a lot of money on wheels, so I don't become "another VS Z with improper fitting wheels"

Do I need wider than 10.5 rear? Or does that depend on the offset?

 

Offset determines wheel size. Wheel size determines tire size. Wheel well determines wheel size range.

 

Put the kit on the car
Measure the distance between tire and fender.
Buy wheels and tires to suit your tastes.

 

That's a simpler answer than what I was expecting lol.
