People who have Work Emotion CR KAI with spacer please come in and help.

I recently bought 10mm Kics spacer and 20mm Ichiba spacer, both with built in studs. When I install the 10mm Kics with my 18x9.5 +20 CR, I found that the back pattern of CR KAI is not fit the OEM studs protrusion (there is hole but not fit ).



So what you guys do with your CR other than install 25mm spacer (coz OEM stick out about 24.08mm protrusion)?

Install shorter studs? or cut the OEM studs?

Install longer studs, simple and easy. Bolt on spacers are garbage, just punch the studs out and install longer studs on your car.

 

or you can cut the stud so it fits... Now to be quite honest, I don't think that would be a safe idea...

 

why would i want to install the longer studs to replace the OEM studs? Now is the OEM studs stick out are not match the back pattern of my CR KAI... In this case, shouldnt I install the shorter studs or cut the OEM studs?

 

I think he meant use slip on spacers that include longer studs opposed to the bolt on spacers.

 

Bingo, and the crappy 10mm bolt ons can easily be turned into good spacers that way. Just buy longer studs.
