Default Snow tires for the Winter Z

Can anyone point me in the direction of some GOOD snow tires that would fit the 2004 OEM Base rims?

My Z is my daily if your wondering why in the world this guy wants snow tires.

Bridgestone Blizzaks. I used them on my Scion TC last winter and it handled like a rally car in the snow. For the Z, I just picked up this set of nearly new Enkei's with Blizzaks on Craigslist for cheap.

Default Agree with Blizzaks

I used them when I lived in Illinois, now that I am in Miami I should probably sell them... got mine from Tire Rack with some wheel package they had at the time. You may want to consider going one size narrower.

I agree with everyone, Bridgestone Blizzaks. Specifically I had the LM-22 model, 17" diameter. I used them for 3 winters in Pennsylvania on my Z and while it didn't handle like a "rally car" or anything magical like that, I was able to get from A to B in moderate snow cover. I've since sold them but I think I was using a 235 width on the rear. I had 225 width on the front but in retrospect I should have gone 235's all around so I could rotate them front to back.

Tirerack usually has decent deals on winter wheel/tire combos that might be worth checking out. I know when I got mine they were closing out 17x8.5 SSR Comp-H in silver at ridiculous low price so I got a set to rock for the winter. Totally thrashed the finish after 3 winters, but it was cool to maintain at least some level of style during those months.
