for your sake I really hope it isnt this.

That's the last thing I need right now. The car is an 08 with only 14k. It would suck if something is tweaked. Guess I'll find out friday when I take it back to the body shop. I'll keep the post updated. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

The plot thickens.... I think you found the culprit. Be very diligent about getting an alignment spec sheet. This sounds like it could get tricky between the Ins Co. and shop that made the repairs.

What kind of accident was it? Rear end'ed, broadside, etc...

Yes, tricky indeed. I was t-boned doing about 35mph and an suv ran a stop sign. I got hit on the passenger side and the whole side was destroyed back to about the quarter panel. I pushed them about the frame being tweaked but they assured me it wasn't. But I will talk to them tomorrow and get a print out. Guess I found my problem indeed.

UPDATE: Ok, I don't have actual numbers yet, but I just got back from the body shop and talked to the owner. He said from what I'm describing, the alignment sounds way out. He said there is no reason to be wearing out tires that fast even with aggressive driving. So, I made an appointment for tomorrow morning to get the alignment checked. I'll ask for a printout and see just how bad the damage is. Until then, the z is resting in the garage. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Make sure you keep your receipts for alignment, check out, etc., as these all should have been done as part of your insurance claim, and they will pay it with proper documentation.

Hello again everyone. Just got back from the body shop and needless to say my alignment was WAY off. Camber was in spec across the board but toe for the right rear was -1/32, left rear was -5/32, right front was -3/32 and left front was -3/16 . They were able to align toe to within stock spec. I also talked to the owner about the original alignment they did and he assured me that they did a proper 4 wheel alignment. He also said he would talk to the insurance company and see if they will compensate me for the tire wear. However, when I got home and checked the original invoice, only a front wheel alignment was listed, not a 4 wheel alignment So needless to say, it seems like this issue was caused by the shop which really pisses me off. We'll see what the insurance company says but honestly the shop should be responsible. Anyway, hopefully the alignment stays in spec and the frame is fine. I'm going to get the alignment checked again in a month or so to see if it stays true. Thanks for all the input guys, so far this was an easy fix!

Don't forget, you can always go to the insurance company directly, especially if it was a shop they suggested or endorse. They will make you whole and then take it up with the shop. This gets a little sticky if its a shop you selected own your own.

Well, my insurance company highly reccommends this place and they have been doing business with them for many years. Usually, my family goes there anyway cus we've been there so many times and kind of have a relationship with them. I would like to talk to the insurance company myselft but I'll see what the shop says, then take it from there.
