Default Tire Sensor question..

My 350z doesn't have sensors but i'm getting rims that have them. Can you take them off the stock and put them on the mrr rims? how does this work? does it go in the tire? in the rim?

They go on the wheels just like regular valve stems... Instead of pulling them through like the rubber ones, you screw them on... Any tire shop can do it... Now it depends on the wheels if they accept tpms... If not, then you need the tpms adapters... GL

Fact, the car has to have the ability to read the TPS sensors, they are located in the passengers side front pillar I believe. Check your owners manual.

If you don't have tpms on the wheels and you put them on the car, it just won't tell you the tire pressure, and after 50 miles or so of straight driving, the light on the dash will turn on... It will go away when you turn off the car, but it will do it again if you drive the same distance non-stop...

In other words, you'll be fine

??????????????

TPMS is the sensor, it replaces the valve stems on the wheels... Your tires don't have them the wheels do... If your wheels don't have the sensors(TPMS), then you can't read the tire pressure on the cute little info center-thingy on the pods...

Yes. Mark the sending units front passenger - front driver. Put them in the same wheels.

There is no system to read the signal from the sending units.

Look at the owners manual. You may able to click through the computer and find tire pressure.
