Are the built in tire pressure gauges functional across different wheels and tires?

The built in onboard tire pressure monitoring system works by a combination of sensors mounted as a part of the tire valve stem that measures pressure and sends a coded signal to a receiver onboard the vehicle. As far as your question, the answer is "yes", IF you move the tire pressure sensor/valve stems to your "different wheels and tires". Please note that due to the configuration of these tire pressure sensor valve stem assemblies, they will NOT fit all aftermarket wheels. For further information, please do a search on this forum.
