Have any of you other guys who ordered actually received your wheels yet? I've been waiting almost 2 1/2 months and still nothing...

How long did they tell you it was going to take?

 

ADV.1 is running behind.. Steve's set has been cut and will be done shortly.

 

 

^^^ In Eric's (getyourwheels.com) defense, he did tell me that the first batch was going to be a little longer than the 3-4 weeks. I ordered at the beginning of March, and was told they'd be done hopefully by the end of the month, and if not, then within the first week or so of April.

In my defense, I've spoken with 3 people (Eric, Carlos at ADV.1, and the owner of ADV.1, Jordan), and been told 3 different stories. I was told weeks ago that the wheels had been cut, re-cut (apparently 2 didn't pass inspection...although Jordan made it sound like this wasn't the case and they hadn't been cut at all), going to paint, etc. I've asked for pictures, and received nothing. I want the wheels, but I don't want to be getting suckered here.

Who else ordered these? Has anyone received a set yet?

I can only give the information that ADV.1 give me. I apologize for the wait. but the centers did come in they are almost ready

 

I worry about ADV1 when stories like this come out. ADV1 is the latest in a long line of company renaming starting with 360 Forged. Jordan is/was the owner of 360 Forged and quick google search that name plus the word scam will bring to light a long history of questionable business practices and orders taken and not fulfilled. I wont go into all of what happened but I personally know some people who had issues with 360.

Jordan/360 was banned as a sponsor from 6speed and many other forums until all those issues were resolved. The company changed names and management a few times and now has settled as ADV1. I thought all the issues were behind them and they turned a new leaf in terms of business practice and ethics. Hopefully this is a little hiccup. But I think everyone should be aware of the history.

No doubt they make some of the most amazing looking wheels out there and take a lot of fancy pictures, but if it's back to business as usual again...then people need to be aware of the risk.

I hope you get your wheels Steve and I hope they are what you expected.
