Default TPMS Sensor in a 2007 Z?

So I removed my tires to install them onto the Rota P45R that I have on order. To my surprise, the rims gad Green TPMS sensors in them. The 07-08 do not come with a digital tire pressure display like the 03-06 so why are they there? Can I use these TPMS with my new Rotas?

Yes, they all work the same. The lack of pressure display is a function of the computer, not the sensors themselves.

Yes, the TPMS is all the same, just the newer cars do not have the solfware to display the pressure.

I was not asking if they were the same but rather why they are there if the car does not come equipped with pressure display. I realized that in the States it is the law for every car 07 or newer. And, Now I know what (!) means when it flashes on the dash. Thanks
