Default Question on wheel sizes

I have a 07 base 350z. I am looking to get aftermarket wheels and just switch the tires off the stock rims as they are brand new.
I am wondering what is the maximum width I can go with wheels. I would like to get some fatter ones for the rear without having clearance issues.
Someone may have to correct me but the fronts are 18x8 and the rears are 18x8.5?
I want to stick with 18 inch wheels but would I be able to go with x9 or 9.5 without having any issues? Also, would my tires fit on something bigger?
Right now on the front I have 225/45R18 91W and on the rear I have 245/45R18 100W

If someone could just let me know the max size I can go with wheel width and if my tires would fit on that it would be great. Also what offset I would need or how much I could vary from the stock offset.
Perhaps theres maybe a thread or some kind of calculator that could tell me?
Thanks for any help.....

Your wheel sizes are 18x8 +30 for the front and 18x8.5 +33 for the rear. The fact that you want to keep the OEM tires greatly limit your wheel options, unless you want the streched look (not enough tire for the wheel), or if you're willing to put the 245s in front and purchase a pair of 275s or wider tires for the rear. Personally, I would just purchase a set of spacers (20/25) and call it a day until your tires are bad enough to justify a brand new set. To answer your question though, I wouldn't go wider than 9.5 for your 245 tires. Offsets will vary depending on manufacturer, wheel design, etc.

Thanks for the links...will check em out when I get some time tomorow...if I do go with 245's in front and get a pair of 275's for rear with 9.5 inch wheels I will have no clearance issues with that width without spacers?

Thats what I just installed and to be honest, there is room to go even bigger on the rear.. 275's still dont fill up the wheel well in the rear and its only a suttle change over the stock wheels/tires with 25mm spacers.. In other words, dont blow $2000+ on something that wil barley make a difference... If I were start over I would keep the OEM wheels put bigger tires in the rear and run with 25mm spacers on all 4 corners and it would cost me less than $500 and look just as good..
