Default LF: rim suggestions that meet my criteria, have any?

Hello all.

I am looking to buy a set of rims for my 04 DB 350Z. I am having a hard time finding a rim that meets my criteria and I like. So I fig maybe you guys can give me some sugguestions.

Please do not, post things like “use the search button” I have already done this and looked though over 40 pages of posts.

My criteria :

-a 19inch or 20 inch setup

-Staggered figment

-Has to clear brembos

-Has the proper offset for my vehicle

-5 spoke design

-Not looking for -- chrome, black, green, blue ECT.

-Looking for -- silver, hyper silver, machined, gun metal, ect.

-My price range for the rims, shipped to my door is between $1200 - $1800 CND (no tires)

If you guys know of any rims that meet the criteria above please post pics, or links to other web sites to I can view them.

Thanks

Kevin

i have the same car (almost).. I'm looking into getting a set of TE37's.

if you insist on 5 spoke, the volk GTS are really nice too. get them in gunmetal

a bit pricey but definitely worth it

From what i have heard and read, the "best" wheel all around is a set of Enkei RPF01s.. but then youre lookin at 18s.

You said 19s or 20s..

I will tell you first hand that a GOOD 20 is truly no worse than a set of 19s.. verry little difference.. its just harder to find GOOD 20s then good 19s. 20s are usually all bling and are tanks.. these below are quite light.
SO..

IF you want to keep the price reasonable, but the quality and function high,
choose Forgestar. FLOWFORMED SERIES.. about 1699 for a set of high end 20s.C5, F10 or F14s

I just ordered the F14 in bronze.

Tons of offset choices, 3 different designs, all look good on the Z, multiple color options, tons of pics available.
I reccomend you check them out. Concave or Step lip avail.

my 20x9.5 and 20x12 wheel and tire combo will be the same weight as my OEM 17s....

Buy them from a site sponsor here..

OP, you might wanna post a budget range for us.. or else were all just gna post our dream wheels on here haha.

HEY! buy these dude!

12k a set. Actually not as bad as youd expect. Still only a third of the price to replace a set of rotors on a carrera GT.

90 percent of 20-inch wheels have a matching 19-inch wheel. Choose 2 of each. There you go.

Is budget in your criteria? That will help with my selection of wheels for your car.

I am looking for a 19 OR 20 inch set of rims, not a 19 front 20 rear set. When I said staggered setup I was referring to a wider wheel in the rear than front. Maybe I misused the term, I don’t know.

I would rather have a lighter wheel but I don’t think that will be possible within my price range so I can live with a heavier set if necessary. I am keeping my OEM 06 rims, and may buy a set of OEM track pack rims for the 1-2 times a year I take the car to the track. (my car is a track pack, but the previous owner sold the car with 04 touring rims)

--------------------

Davidv, which site did you search for the wheels on?

----------------------

My price range for the rims, shipped to my door is between $1200 - $1800 CND
The tires I am going to buy locally, (i have a gift certificate)

Thanks all

Kevin,
At that budget you my what to check out the FS threads and try and find something used. A local member is selling a set of Volk GTFs which I think would look great on your car.

i noticed the set on the red Z for sale today. They had a little bit of damage and i am very picky. I am considering them an option though.

I don’t think its dumb. If I asked which wheel was the best, or which one should I buy, that would be dumb.

BUT I said I am having a hard time finding a wheel that meets my criteria and asked for suggestion of wheel that would meet that criteria. From there I would choose the wheel that is MY TASTE. I never asked what “people” like, just what wheel they know of that meet my criteria. If it happens to be one that they personally like, that’s cool.

Here's mine.
5-spoke
Hyper Silver
Staggered set-up
And the spokes are spidered out so they should clear the calipers.. I just added 10mm spacers to get the exact look I wanted..
