sounds like lgear is the guru of wheels around here LOL.

Thanks for sharing your views man.

Would love to own one of these babies one day. Even if it's just the Varrsstoeens.

If you can get it right without spacers, that's how it's done.

On that note, my 2 cents has clearly been given.
I agree about getting it right without spacers, but I've seen more cars than I can count running spacers and I've yet to see any detrimental effects. There's of course the crowd that says wheel bearings will go out faster, but it's not like adding a 10mm spacer is going to make your wheel bearing fail in 1000 miles.

I was simply suggesting spacers in his case since he's already bought the wheels.

Update:

Ok so I heard back from the Vendor. They said the order I originally placed would still be the best setup for me, for what I was looking for... although I mentioned I was looking at a different setup. So, I guess we'll see what they say about that one

i thought you said that would fit fat tires? what's the aspec ratio on that? how much camber?

that's a pretty weak front tire to be frank. square setups are gold, just have to make sure the rest is dialed in.

i've run as big as 285/35 w no major issues.

settled on 265 as it felt the best up front.

i'll raise the flag on that one.

i have 285/35/18 hankook rs-3's, 18x9.5 +22, -2.75 camber, and about a 1.3" drop. i could not run a 5mm spacer without major fender rubbing.

idk, i agree with lgear.

ive ridden in 275/30/19 on a 19x10.5 +22 with 8mm spacer(to clear oem brembos) for the front with -3 camber and dropped 2 or more inches with no rubbing.

something is wrong here.

the original set up lgear recommended can fit a 275 up front easily and that's with a big drop.

I should note that I don't run fender liners (have not for 4 years)
and am on d-specs/s-techs. Many members have personally seen
my car, ridden in my car, and some have driven my car.

I do believe bimmer's issue is that he hasn't discarded the liners
yet - am i correct?

Ok, so it's almost the end of December, and I STILL have not received my wheels yet...

I got the fronts in, a couple weeks ago... but no rears in sight yet... Should have bought from someone else...

That's rough on the waiting on the wheels thing...Hey superblack and lgear, when you were running the 19's how low were you with the 275 or 265 up front? I'm looking to go to a 265 30 but want to keep stockish camber. I'm in the one's right now and no rubbing but I know that I am damn close. I don't feel like pulling anymore either.

Lastly...anyone know if vehicle speed is definitely measured from the front wheels? it's what i"m assuming but need ot be sure.

I heard that 3 months is the normal turnaround time on wheels...
