Default Newb wheels question..

So my Z is lowered on tanabe gf210 springs (1.0"/1.2"). I want to get 19" wheels soon. But I am just wondering.. Is it going to look like it's slammed? I don't want that it all. I don't want it to rub my fender or any of that I just want it to look good. So, Q: will it look slammed and/or will it rub my fender?

I want to go
F 255/35/19
R 285/35/19

Thanks

The offsets aren't desirable for a Z. They will sink in farther than stock wheels. If you like that design may I suggest Forgestar F14s or AvantGarde M310s. Affordable with correct sizing available

As others said...need to check your offsets.
Also, seems a 275/35/19 would be a better choice for the rear...closer to the diameter you need.
I'm running 19's ...245 front/275 rear ..35's
perfect fit.
What wheels are you planning to get?
Its a good idea if you are buying a "brand" wheel to call the manufacturer or distributor.
Tell them your vehicle...ask a tech guy,to get the right offset.
Alot these tire places don't have a clue for the right offset.
I'm running ACE Stadas...staggered.I called ACE...THE OFFSETS HE RECOMMENDED WERE PERFECT.
On your springs, you should not have a problem with the 1" drop. However,if you are planning any mod...front lip, skirts etc.Your gonna have to watch it.I'm stock suspension,
19's as I said...Mine's front lip.Very low ground clearance at the edges.

You may want to check the ACE Strada...Its a mesh design like the DRAG.
The offsets fit the Z.Don't know if they do black.
I've got hyper black...they also do chrome(don't like).
Great wheel for the $$$$

Tire size will not change that. Correct offset wheels or wheel spacers will. Another thing, if you decide to spend $750 on those wheels they will be "hiding under the car" just as much as the ones you have now. You will have to spend another couple hundred dollars on wheels spacers to make them flush. So now you have $950 tied up in wheels that aren't the right size when you can just save a little more and alleviate having to buy spacers at all.

The diameter of the wheels (19") has nothing to do with it; wheel width and offsets do. Probably the most popular sizing would be around 19x9.5+22 front and 19x10.5+22 rear. You would have no problem running 245-255/35/19 and 275-285/35/19 tires.

If you're looking for cheap wheels I would look into Varrstoens. They make Volk and BBS knock offs and they are around $1000 shipped.

Yes, a 255/35/19 tire would fit on a 10.5 wheel but it would be mildly stretched.

1- youre car is gonna look like *** with 19x8 40 offset especially with a 275 on the rear.

2- drag wheels are crap even for daily driving.

for a thousand dollars you can get many wheels better than what youre lookin at. for real i have volk gt-f 19x9.5 17 offset front/ 19x10.5 24 offset rear for sale for $1800 if you want them.
